Brand Identity
Brand identity that holds together everywhere it lands
What does brand identity work at Web Interactive cover?
Our brand identity work gives a business a coherent visual system: a logo, a typographic choice, a color palette, and the rules for using them, designed so the brand reads clearly at every size from a favicon to a billboard. Because we also build the website, the identity is made to live online, not just sit in a static guidelines PDF.
Identity designed for where it actually lives
A brand today lives first on screens: a website, a social avatar, an email signature, an app icon, a favicon barely sixteen pixels wide. A logo that only works as a large print mark and falls apart at small sizes or on a dark background is a liability in that world. We design identities for the screen-first reality, testing the mark small, in motion, and in context, so it stays legible and recognizable everywhere it appears.
That does not mean ignoring print or the physical world; a strong identity should work on a sign and a business card too. It means we do not design a beautiful artifact that breaks the moment it meets a real browser. The test of an identity is not how it looks framed on a wall, it is how it holds up across the dozens of small, unglamorous places a brand actually shows up.
A system, not just a logo
A logo on its own is not a brand identity. The identity is the whole system: the logo and its variations, the typefaces and how they are set, the color palette and where each color is used, the spacing and proportion, and the supporting elements that make a layout feel like yours and no one else's. A coherent system is what lets a brand look consistent across a website, a deck, an ad, and an invoice without a designer recreating it each time.
We deliver that system in a form you can actually use, with clear, practical guidance rather than a thick document nobody opens. Because we build websites, we are especially careful that the identity translates into real, working web styles: web-safe and self-hostable type, accessible color contrast, and rules that a developer can implement faithfully. An identity that cannot be built is only half done.
Built straight into the website
The biggest advantage of doing identity and website together is that nothing is lost in translation. When a separate agency designs a brand and hands a PDF to whoever builds the site, the result is often a website that only loosely resembles the guidelines. We close that gap by carrying the identity directly into the build, so the site is the truest expression of the brand rather than a watered-down version of it.
It also makes both stronger. Designing the identity with the website in mind keeps the brand grounded in how it will really be used, and designing the website from a settled identity gives it a coherence that ad-hoc styling never achieves. You can engage us for identity alone, website alone, or both, but the two together is where the work is most seamless.
What to expect
Key things to know
- Screen-first, not print-only. Marks are tested small, dark, and in motion so they hold up where brands actually live today.
- A full system. Logo, type, color, spacing, and rules, not just a logo, so the brand stays consistent everywhere.
- Usable guidance. Clear, practical direction a real team can follow, not a thick document nobody opens.
- Buildable by design. Self-hostable type and accessible contrast mean the identity translates faithfully into web styles.
- Carried into the site. When we build the site too, the identity is implemented directly, with nothing lost in handoff.

Every engagement is scoped individually. Tell us what you are building and we will respond with specifics. The slots below mark how we typically work together; the forms use a clearly marked placeholder endpoint until the operator wires them to a real system.
Self-hosted project inquiry form. Tell us the goal and the timeline and we scope it individually. Placeholder endpoint until the operator wires it to a real inbox or CRM.
Open project form →For teams that want continuous design, build, and hosting support after launch. Request a quote and we will propose a scope. Placeholder endpoint until configured.
